HEAD TEACHER’S PROFILE
Mrs Prisca IFEYINWA AKUNASHA is the Head Teacher of Amazing Talents Schools.
She is a trained teacher and an experienced Educational Administrator,
having obtained Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) from Alvan
Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, Imo State with a specialization in
Early Childhood/Primary Education. That was in 1996.
Four years later, Mrs Akunasha later furthered her education at the
Lagos State University, Ojo, where she graduated with the first degree
in
Guidance and Counseling
To sharpen her skill, she has undergone several professional trainings
such as -Montessori and early childhood education, modern methods of
teaching, synthetic phonics, organisation for school growth and
development, implementation of the new 9–year basic education national
curriculum and unified scheme of work for private and public schools,
Nelson handwriting etc.
With over 20 years of teaching, nine of which as a Head Teacher, Mrs
Akunasha comes with a wealth of experience that verily equips her for
the office she presently occupies.
Aside the unique leadership quality she exercises, the Head Teacher
has a special strength in child interaction, Counseling niche,
motivational capacity, she is an honest and a firm administrator.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, meeting people, singing and
making friends.
